Someday I’ll force myself to actually stop, compose and take a proper photo of the sunsets on the hill. But this will have to do for now… (Holding my phone up to the car window and shooting through it) as I drive down the road. That being said, it still came out pretty well 🙂
I’ll definitely have to revisit this photo to shoot it again once the leaves of this succulent sedum mature more.
What to do on a rainy day? Photograph droplets. I’m not sure how successful this image is but it was fun capturing it. I used a long-focus lens wide open to create the shallow depth of field. 1/100 of a second shutter speed to allow the drops to streak.
This is just a simple still-life photo. As it worked out an aperture of f8 really looked the best. I shot everything between f2.8 and f32.
Shot at the equivalent of 416mm, ISO 200, 1/15 of a second at F8, laying on my belly.
Again, noontime light is awful for photos. But that’s when I was able to get out. So what does one do during this time of day? Roll with it. In meandering around the cemetery I found this old stone which caught my attention. It’s not fancy or overtly special, but the way the light raked

Not much to say here. This was taken towards the end of a nice hike and I have to admit I saw this one in B&W. I did play around with the B&W hue adjustments in lightroom quite a bit on this one.
